Our History

In 2009, sadly the theater closed, leaving a void in the community.  Yet, the show goes on as a dedicated group of community leaders work to achieve a successful renovation of The REES Theatre. Learn more about the yesteryears of The REES vibrancy that is now being brought back to life.

Our Impact

The REES joins eleven other Plymouth, Indiana downtown redevelopment projects with $21MM in community investment to bring back the benefits of of the arts in our community. The arts have a positive impact on our lives and economy to create the place where people want to live, work and play in north central Indiana.

After five years, four phases, numerous fundraisers and inkind gifting, the goal of raising over 4 million dollars is nearly complete for the renovation capital campaign.

A special date night
A special date night

Very seldom do we have an opportunity to combine several things we care about into a package for others to enjoy, too. But for Paul Levett and Judy Eck, that is what will happen on Friday, Oct. 6, when they sponsor “Somewhere in Time” as the Date Night movie at The REES Theatre at 7:30 p.m. They are using the movie as a fundraiser for the Culver Youth Club. All proceeds from ticket sales and a special wine-and-dessert reception before the show will benefit the organization.
